What We Are Looking For We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team and take a pivotal role in the assembly, maintenance, modification, and ongoing improvement of our industrial 3D bio printers. This position is crucial to ensuring the functionality and reliability of our cutting-edge bioprinting technology, which plays a key role in advancing the field of biotechnology and medical research. As the Lead Engineering Technician, you will work closely with our engineering and research teams to assemble, optimize, and upgrade our 3D bio printers, helping to drive innovation and breakthroughs in the world of biofabrication. What You Will Do 1. Assemble and Build: Lead the assembly and setup of industrial 3D bio printers, ensuring that all components are correctly integrated and calibrated for precise and reliable operation. 2. System Modification: Collaborate with engineering teams to design, implement, and test modifications to improve the performance, accuracy, and efficiency of bio printers. 3. Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality control checks on assembled systems to ensure they meet stringent quality standards and specifications. 4. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including mechanical, electrical, and software-related problems, to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations. 5. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of modifications, upgrades, and maintenance activities, creating comprehensive documentation to assist in troubleshooting and future reference. 6. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineers, researchers, and other team members to understand their requirements and provide technical support and expertise in alignment with project goals. 7. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. What You Will Bring * Proven experience (3 years) in assembling, modifying, and maintaining industrial 3D printers or similar complex electromechanical systems. * Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of 3D printing technologies. * Proficiency in reading technical schematics and diagrams. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. * Strong commitment to safety and quality standards. * Self-motivated and able to work independently on projects.
