What you will do

  1. Maintain production within budgeted/forecasted objectives.
  2. Initiate, monitor and optimize the depletion strategies of the assets.
  3. Dynamic reservoir simulation.
  4. Management of existing waterflood schemes through tracking of injection volumes, pattern allocations, VRRs and overall performance.
  5. Apply new technologies and techniques to manage waterflood conformance, increase efficiency and maximize recovery factors in existing pools.
  6. Work closely with Production and Exploitation Engineers to set ongoing injection targets and optimize water injection/disposal volumes.
  7. Providing estimation and evaluation of drilling opportunities and work overs including productivity, reserves, costs, timing and risk value determination.
  8. Apply oil and gas asset evaluation experience to the evaluation of acquisition and divestiture opportunities and the preparation of the associated business proposals including economic evaluations.

What you will bring

  1. Graduated (Petroleum) Engineering or comparable education.
  2. High technical proficiency in Engineering with 10+ years industry experience.
  3. Well-rounded experience in both oil and gas reservoir/development.
  4. Strong background in Exploration and field development projects.
  5. High level of proficiency and experience with industry standard software applications, i.e. Fekete Piper, Well Test, Petrel, Eclipse, MatBal, Prosper.
  6. Proficiency in English is required, German on a conversational level.
  7. International experience and experience of German basins.
  8. A strong team player, a good communicator who is self-confident and has the ability to take the initiative and show a creative approach.
