Here's what you'd do:
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
The thermal design analysis engineer will be responsible for the development, verification, and validation of thermal models for space hardware. The thermal analyst will be engaged within a cross-functional group to ensure model accuracy, design margins, and compliance with customer requirements. The incumbent will need a passion for space propulsion / fluid control, launch vehicle actuation, and spacecraft control mechanisms. Development of new, and modification of existing, thermal models for space hardware. Clear verbal communication status of efforts to program teams. Detailed documentation of thermal models and calculations

Job RequirementsRequired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Thermal Design Analyst for space hardware
- Minimum 3 years of experience with thermal analysis techniques
- Minimum 3 years of experience with ANSYS Software, conducted finite difference analysis, Conducted finite element analysis, Thermal Analysis, Thermal Desktop
Preferred Skills:
- Master's Degree in Science
- A highly motivated individual with the ability to multi-task among several programs with competing demands
- Software experience with clients NX, and MSC Sinda
- The position will need the ability to understand multiple types of hardware; efforts will range from valves, thrusters, linear actuators, and rotary actuators.
