ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Design projects from schematic design through construction under Senior Engineer.
2. Provide necessary support as required for lighting, power, riser diagrams, generators, UPS’s, Photovoltaics, electrical circuiting, voice/data, security, AV and fire alarm systems.
3. Check shop drawings and assist during construction.
4. Majority of responsibility will be production work.

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE EXPECTATIONS:

1. BS degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program required. MS degree a plus.
2. Fundamentals of Engineer Exam taken a plus.
3. Applicants shall have completed coursework in engineering and/or have practical design experience working on building systems.
4. 1-4 years of Electrical engineering experience.
5. Knowledge of NEC, NFPA70, NFPA72 and Chicago Building Codes a plus.
6. Proficiency in REVIT/CAD required.
7. Strong communicator with the ability to interact with a variety of internal clients.
8. Responsible for personal task management and meeting scope and schedule.
9. Self-starter with the desire to learn the industry.
