The Field Service Engineer is an integral part of the Skyline Products Inc. team. This team member will provide customer support, testing and field repair on LED and scroll style gas price signs, electronic dynamic message signs and traffic control systems. Skyline Products is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated experienced individual who will represent the company in a highly professional, and customer-centric manner..Skyline Products is looking for someone with experience in a customer facing technical field role that will represent the company in a highly professional manner and serve our customer base.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Travel to customer sites to perform onsite installation, testing and troubleshooting of dynamic message sign systems located on interstates, local roads, and/or gas stationsCoordinate, manage and complete assigned project work orders in a timely mannerWrite routine trip reports, test result reports, feedback reports to engineering and correspondenceCommunicate frequently and effectively with both internal and external customersFacilitate on-site or remote training sessionsQUALIFICATIONSTeam oriented, able to work well with coworkersExcellent customer interfacing and communication skillsMinimum of three years of experience in basic electronicsEquivalent military technical training and experienceAssociate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in electronics preferredExperience in the use of multimeters measuring AC and DC voltageAble to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagramsProficient with MS OfficeBasic networking and Linux/Unix command line experience is a plusAvailability to travel up to 75% to customer sites; able to travel on short noticeAbility to lift/move up to 50 poundsAbility to perform in cold, noisy, stressful environmentsAble to work from a bucket truck at heights up to 30 feetMust possess a valid driver’s licenseSkyline Products is an Equal Opportunity Employer; all decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, creed, gender, national origin, age, disability, marital or veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other legally protected status.Powered by JazzHR
