Hiring Type: Full-Time

Base Salary: $84K-$94K Per Annum.

Brief

As a DevOps Engineer you will be working with python code bases involving complex threat detection algorithms in an ultra-high traffic environment. You would be reading complex code and troubleshooting it and providing solutions.

As a DevOps Engineer II, you will be responsible for:

1. Troubleshooting complex production issues in a distributed environment
2. Performing system programming/automation to solve complex issues
3. Defining requirements as part of the product lifecycle to influence the new designs and standards
4. Participating in on-call rotations, guiding restoration and repair of service-impacting issues
5. Working with Dev and Quality Assurance teams to create more robust solutions, code improvement and stability

To be successful in this role you will:

1. Have 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree or its equivalent
2. Have proven experience as a systems performance/site reliability or DevOps engineer
3. Develop software using Python or any scripting programming language
4. Have experience of working with NoSQL databases, such as Cassandra or Redis
5. Have experience with orchestration tools e.g. Chef and/or Ansible
