Job Title: Electronics TechnicianJob DescriptionResponsible for troubleshooting, testing, and repairing electronic equipment; developing prototypes and breadboard circuits; designing and retrofitting existing equipment; researching and performing routine maintenance on electronic equipment utilizing test sets.Hard SkillsTroubleshoot and run general diagnostics on electronic equipmentDesign and build control systems for production and facility equipmentPerform routine maintenance utilizing test sets such as ultrasound, infrared, megger, oscilloscopes, VDM, and ammeterAdjust, calibrate, and repair pressure transducers, probes, and sensorsOperate basic power tools for equipment fabricationPerform electrical, mechanical, and optical assembly and repair operationsInstall and evaluate new equipment and componentsRequest and manage parts for repair processesDevelop prototypes and breadboard circuitsWrite technical reports and develop charts, graphs, and schematicsKnowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SAPWorking knowledge of modern analog and digital electronicsAbility to read electronic wiring diagrams and schematicsUse of hand tools for troubleshooting and repairSoft SkillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work cooperatively in a team environmentSuperior service orientation with a positive attitudeCommitment to high-quality standards and performanceJob TypeThis is a permanent position.Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Mcpherson, Kansas.Work EnvironmentProduction/Mfg.
