Design Engineer

We are currently hiring for a Design Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in the Denver area. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a designer role.

YOUR DUTIES

1. Create, refine, and detail 2D and 3D CAD models and prepare drawings using SolidWorks.
2. Analyze and detail tolerances for interference and stack-up in production situations.
3. Maintain ECR/ECN and revision control documentation.
4. Create and detail one-time modifications or customization to existing products.
5. Communicate with internal customers to understand requirements.
6. Communicate changes, special instructions, and other details to the production floor.

OUR REQUIREMENTS

1. Associate degree in a relevant engineering or technical discipline or 4+ years of relevant experience.
2. Extensive (3-5 years of continuous) experience in SolidWorks (or 3D modeling) preferred.
3. Design-related decision-making experience.
4. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings.
5. Proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
