Responsibilities may include:

  • Contribute to design of multiple functional blocks including LNA, switch, DSA, SOI analog blocks, and RF Modules
  • Meet performance requirements while also considering size, cost, footprint, and schedule
  • Produce designs with challenging specifications that may require trade studies to make decisions on the path of the design
  • Adapt to new customer requirements for ruggedness, ESD, and quality
  • Work as a member of a team to contribute design schematics, simulations, and real lab data
  • Work with signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters to compare simulated data to real lab data

Qualifications:

  • MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering
  • Student must have completed some analog/RF circuit design coursework
  • Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers preferred
  • Software Exposure: ADS, AWR, FEM, HFSS, Momentum, Cadence, Dynamic Link, Python, Spotfire, Matlab (desired)
  • Self-Starter with good communication skills
  • Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information
  • Detail-oriented to ensure design and delivery of high-yielding products
  • Be able to enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment
