TEC is hiring a Principal Software Engineering Manager-Windows to help build and ship products which redefine best-in-class privacy for our customers and to help make Windows the most trusted AI-driven OS on the planet! As a Principal Software Engineering Manager-Windows, you will work across product and technical boundaries to build intuitive privacy features that are easy to use, protect customers, and position Windows at the forefront of the AI revolution. You will lead a team that builds features to help Microsoft customers protect their privacy, understand how their data is being used, and control who gets access to their sensitive info. Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the engineering team in navigating complex engineering systems to ship Windows OS features on time with high quality.
  2. Manage, mentor, and grow the careers of your team.
  3. Collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to build exceptional consumer-grade experiences.
  4. Design, architect, build, and manage features for highly scalable services and responsive user interfaces.
  5. Review and provide guidance to ongoing design, architecture, standards, and methods for OS components, operating services, and systems; assess design and code changes to drive improvements.
  6. Analyze data from hundreds of millions of devices to measure the impact of the changes and recommend opportunities for improvement.
