Position

Revive is looking for a talented and experienced Front End Developer to develop thoughtful and easy-to-use online experiences using ReactJS, Shopify and custom APIs. The right fit will jump in on finding useful, scalable solutions. They will help establish and promote good development practices from ideation through launch. This position will support our CTO, Web Project Manager, Full-stack Developer and Front-end Designer/Developer by coding up the responsive front end of projects and tracking changes using Git. Troubleshoot and fix common website issues. You will primarily work with ReactJS, the Shopify ecommerce platform, custom API integrations and Prismic CMS. The CTO and CEO will work with you one-on-one to ensure you’re successful in your role. This position reports to the CTO who will be providing weekly check-ins to support you as you grow in your career with us.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience developing and launching consumer-facing Shopify websites
  • 4+ years of ReactJS experience
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Sass, JS, ReactJS and Node
  • Shopify Ecommerce APIs and Liquid templating
  • Code websites from designs created in the Adobe suite or Figma
  • Demonstrable web development skills with a strong portfolio featuring websites made using ReactJS and Shopify
  • An understanding of front-end web development best practices to create responsive, fast-loading websites
  • Experience using Amazon Web Services and Git
  • Comfortable efficiently getting data from APIs and integrating it into ReactJS apps
  • Experience with Headless Shopify and API-based Content Management Systems is a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining features for our Shopify, Headless Shopify and Prismic websites
  • Content modeling for Content Management Systems
  • Developing new features for our own SaaS brand
  • Reporting progress to our Web Project Manager using Asana and Slack
  • Collaborating with our CTO and Senior Developer to iterate on creating forward-thinking solutions in pull requests and code reviews
