Civil Engineer

Insight Global is currently seeking a Sr. Engineer for a permanent full-time opportunity in the Lexington, KY area. This individual will be a licensed engineer (with an active PE) and will be responsible for developing structures and equipment bidding documents for distribution and transmission substations. Other responsibilities will include reviewing designs, developing construction specifications and contracts, design grounding layout and detail, and maintain awareness of all relevant procedures, specifications, NEMA, NEC, NESC, ANSI, IEEE, etc., and applicable standards

Top Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program required
• Registered PE license in the Commonwealth of Kentucky preferred
• 7 + years of experience with progressively responsible engineering work experience
• Professional working experience with CAD applications

Salary: 150- 184k

Location: Lexington, KY

Shift: M-F Regular 40-hour work week

Interview Process : 2 rounds (excluding Insight Global screening)

• 1st: Phone/Video with HR and Manager
• 2nd: In Person interview with Manager
