This is a hybrid position located in Etna, PA. No relocation is provided for this role.

Your Day-to-Day:
• Lead reactor design and integration activities across the eVinci program.
• Facilitate decision-making to accelerate technical progress across the reactor design groups.
• Identify and define technical issues, risks and challenges, direct efforts to successful resolution.
• Cross-functional integration of multiple functional areas related to reactor system, fuel, and core design.
• Identify and define technical issues, risks and challenges, direct efforts to successful resolution.
• Lead key technical teams, providing oversight while delegating work and mentoring team members.
• Interface with stakeholders on design progress, technical issues, cost and schedule.
• Provide technical guidance, direction, and collaborate with other personnel including partners such as national laboratories, sub-contractors, partners, suppliers, fabricators, and customers.
• Adaptable and flexible to changes in strategy, market, and design.
• Work highly independently - not only mentor engineers but also effectively lead a team of engineers in the execution of complex tasks.
Who You Are: As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:
• BS in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering, MS in Engineering is preferred
• Knowledge and experience in advanced reactor system design preferred
• Significant experience in a technical leadership role, either as a technical lead or project manager - with aspects of design, modeling, and/or analysis and with the ability to manage teams in challenging situations with complex tasks
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong teamwork skills
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and tasks
• Minimum of 8 years of experience required
