Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement advanced applications for our flagship iOS platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify potential problems and resolve application bottlenecks.
- Fix bugs before the final release.
- Maintain code integrity and organization.
- Monitor the performance of live apps and work on optimizing them at the code level.
- Innovate and brainstorm new features with the design and product teams.
- 2 or more years of experience as an iOS Engineer, preferably in a hyper growth startup
- 5 or more years of related experience working with Node.js, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, & AWS Infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of scalable, maintainable, and reliable system architectures
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
- Understanding of Apple's design principles and interface guidelines.
- Familiarity with push notifications, APIs, and cloud messaging.
- Experience with performance and memory tuning tools.
- Strong knowledge of code versioning tools (such as Git).
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
- A team player attitude with excellent communication skills.
