What you will be doing
You will be joining CIBC’s US Infrastructure Operations team. The role will administer telemetry platform ensuring its smooth operation and optimal performance. You will be responsible for running day-to-day operations , handling tickets, responding to incidents and interfacing with various line of business and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
End to end experience with Dynatrace
Responsible for collaborating with management, cloud and platform teams, application developers, and product owners to identify end user requirements and specifications for application performance monitoring.
Setup Event Management, Logging, Monitoring, and Alerting
Implement and configure Dynatrace's Application Performance Monitoring and monitoring solution across various environments, including setting up dashboards, alerts, and reports for monitoring application performance.
Analyze application performance data collected by Dynatrace to identify potential issues and areas for improvement, and work closely with development teams to optimize application performance.
Troubleshooting: use Dynatrace tools to troubleshoot and resolve application performance issues.
Continuous Improvement: continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the Dynatrace implementation and make recommendations for improvements
Provides troubleshooting and support, including on-call rotation, after-hours support.
Perform other duties as assigned.
How you will succeed
Troubleshooting and Technical Skills - Work closely with key business and technology partners to ensure that business and client impact issues are well understood and addressed. Ensure all infrastructure management aspects maintain adherence to all regulatory and information security standards and policies.
Critical Thinker – Create better ways of solving technical problems.
Relationship Management - Build strong relationships and partnerships with technical team members, clients, vendors, and peers. Lead discussions, listen, and ask the right questions to ensure problems/issues are identified and resolved.
Who you are
3 years of recent monitoring experience with hands on Dynatrace Config, Install & Support creating dashboards with solid problem diagnosing skills.
Required to have experience in configuring pure path, collector and agent for Dynatrace.
Hands on expertise on other monitoring tools like SolarWinds , PRTG, Splunk etc.
Ability to build up application metrics/dashboards and to interface with high level application owners.
Experience with application monitoring/ building of dashboards
Responsible, highly dependable, organized; able to work individually and collaboratively with peers.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
5+ years experience in Windows Administration.
2 years of experience in Microsoft Azure.
