Position Summary
Mechanical 3D Designer – Raleigh, NC
We’re seeking a Mechanical BIM Designer to join our expanding team and contribute to the design and management of mechanical projects in the pharmaceutical and food & beverage industries.
The position offers hybrid work flexibility with occasional travel to client sites. The Revit Modeler will work closely with our engineering teams to draw and support MEP design for a variety of facilities in different industries.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Prepare, based on sketches and other data, 3D Revit models, drawings, and diagrams of mechanical systems, including: piping, plumbing, HVAC
- Manage project drawings sets
- Effectively interact with engineers and other members of the design team across multiple engineering disciplines to understand and communicate technical information.
- Apply and maintain the company's and/or client’s design, drafting, and quality standards on all models and drawings produced.
- Create 3D models of discipline specific and detailed component models for overlay and visual purposes.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Autodesk software suite. Revit and AutoCAD 2D experience is required.
- Plant 3D and Autodesk Construction Cloud experience is a plus
- 0-5 years of experience in modeling and drawing mechanical systems for building projects
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and attention to detail.
