Position Summary
This software developer position will prototype analytic development for the location and movement & travel team and will leverage geo-coordinated data with other identifiers to develop associations between personas and devices.
Essential Functions Statements
The analytics developed will be used as a basis for future datasets with related subject areas. Analytics will be automated using machine learning techniques to better refine the results sets so that they provide high confidence results to the user base. The candidate will work with structured data sets. This prototype development position will leverage Java and Python skills to develop the persona analytics and tradecraft.

This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some physical abilities may be required.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from the department manager.

Education
Required Education, Experience and Certificates
A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline may be substituted for 4 years of general experience.
Experience
- At least 8 years of general experience in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in software-intensive projects and programs for government or industry customers.
- Additionally, at least 3 years of experience must have been as a software engineer supporting software architecture development, requirement analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and integration (with both new and existing systems).
- Valid Driver’s License
- COVID-19 Vaccination Card
Preferred Education, Experience And Certificates
Computer Skills : Proficient in C++, XKS & Genesis framework, Jupyter Notebooks and/or GMLearn.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Must be able to accomplish all duties with little or no assistance.
Must have a good command of the English language; oral and written.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
Employee must be a US citizen.
Employee must be able to have and maintain a Top-Secret SCI with full-scope polygraph.
