Electrical Engineer Group Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is looking for an Electrical Engineering Group Manager. This position will be on-site 3 days a week in the Richmond area. The Group Manager will report to the Director of Engineering. They will oversee a team of up to 25 total staff with 5 direct reports. Main responsibilities include designing projects, mentoring and developing engineers on their team, executes projects and ensures successful delivery to clients, and serve as main point of contact for clients. Other administrative tasks include approving timesheets, approving schedules, reviewing engineers designs, and project management reviews.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum bachelors in Electrical Engineering
• 15+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Engineer license (PE)
• Revit/AutoCAD/BlueBeam
• Must be able to obtain security clearance

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering
• RCDD or LEED AP certifications
• Ezpower, Etap, SKM experience
• Experience designing telecom or electronic security systems
• Experience working on State/Federal/Department projects

Pay rate $150,000-$170,000
