Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud Migration Engineer to support our customer in a fast, agile environment to support the customer's overall strategy and migration to the cloud.
Responsibilities:
- Provides assessment of existing solutions and infrastructure to migrate to the cloud.
- Plan, deliver, and implement application and data migration with scalable, high-performance solutions using third-party tools and public cloud technologies driving next generation business outcomes.
- Building clients’ cloud platforms, pipelines, and tooling; communicating with technical stakeholders and understanding the relevant engineering methods, tools, and technologies.
- Designing detailed technical solutions (eg. what tools and how), implementation, engineering best practices, and cloud/DevOps engineering work.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment (Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud Security).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a production cloud environment including network, security, deployment, and automation (IaC).
- Minimum 2 years of experience migrating applications from other platforms/on-premises to cloud.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with DevSecOps supporting automated pipelines for mission application owners.
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting operating systems (Microsoft and Redhat Linux) and applications in an enterprise or production environment.
- TS/SCI clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Agile development techniques and ceremonies.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps.
- Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and deliver to project deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Clearance:
- TS/SCI Clearance.
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:
$97,300 — $196,500 USD
