In this role you'll make an impact by:
- Developing engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that affect plant operations including availability, capacity, quality, cost, or regulatory compliance issues.
- Managing improvement based on Management of Change (MOC) with primary areas focused on Reliability Center Maintenance (RCM), Root Cause Failure Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), developing and maintaining reliability programs, preventative maintenance, Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programs, IA development, and project sponsorship.
- Serving as a leader driving improvement in the financial outlook of Novonesis through the use of LEAN manufacturing, A3 and PDCA and other reliability tools.
- Capability to work with teams, providing leadership on technical issues. Fostering the continuous improvement culture for maintenance and production process flow while taking ownership and using creativity to "get things done right the first time".
- Establishing interdepartmental working relationships and defining, when necessary, working teams to solve reliability issues.
- Participating in professional organizations with a focus on continuing technical skill development and network creation.
- Showcasing a strong ability in the use of all SAP-PM transactions and also development of SAP spare parts. Proficiency in PdM development, providing support and expertise in PdM areas such as: Vibration, Ultrasound, Tribology, Laser alignment.
- Supporting maintenance training and development with emphasis on electrical/instrumentation.
Potentially relevant experience:
- B.S. in Engineering or HS Diploma with at least 10 years of specific proven experience in maintenance reliability with an electrical and instrumentation focus.
- Capable of providing leadership, solving technical issues focusing on maintenance reliability and process optimization.
- Proficiency in communicating with all levels of the organization and creating and developing teams when needed.
- Expert ability to generate technical reports focusing on investment, cost, and payback.
- Expert ability in PdM development and use of related programs.
- Expert ability in SAP-PM and SAP spare parts development.
- Physical ability to move around the site, climb stairs, walk frequently, bend, and stoop.
Expected salary range: $85,000 to $130,000 + relocation if needed
