Reporting to the Executive Director of Creative Services, the Sr. Manager of Web Production will bring a solid understanding of web development and hands-on skills building and authoring web pages in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for the CVS Pharmacy Marketing team. They will also have the ability to lead a small team of web production designers within a large and matrixed organization. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of web best practices, SEO, ADA compliance, and a mind for efficiency and process improvement. A background in retail web design and/or e-commerce experience is a plus. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office working at either our Woonsocket, RI or Wellesley, MA offices.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build new pages in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) using an existing branded component library and templates while following best practices to test and launch pages, performing quality control checks on all content
- Manage workloads and lead a small team of talented web production designers with the potential to grow team size and capabilities
- Partner with offshore team of content authors
- Collaborate with a variety of business partners to deliver on the project brief and expectations
- Keep Executive Director of Creative Services informed of workloads, process issues and team performance
- Partner with other Creative Services managers to share knowledge, support growth opportunities and engagement for team members
- Find opportunities to streamline processes and gain efficiencies
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of overall experience in a similar technical role
- 3+ years managing a team at an agency and/or corporate environment
- 2+ years of content authoring and QA experience with the Adobe Experience Manager CMS
- Proficient on a Mac
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Content Fragments and Experience Fragments within AEM
- 3+ years of experience working on large corporate or ecommerce website
- Experience with wireframes and Figma (design/prototyping software)
- Basic HTML editing skills
- Ability to thrive working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with the ability to respond to changing priorities
- Well organized with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with a positive attitude and the willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
- Ability to collaborate well with a variety of business partners (digital producers, delivery managers, strategists, asset managers, accessibility, designers, copywriters, proofreaders, developers)
- Must be flexible and able to maintain a professional attitude under pressure
- Ability to problem-solve and work independently as needed
- Knowledge of Adobe Workfront, Adobe Assets, Adobe Analytics, Qumu Video Engagement Platform, UX/UI design, digital ADA (Accessibility) compliance and web optimization (SEO)
- Experience working with offshore teams
- Technical skills in Figma and Photoshop
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Slack and Rally
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience (4 years).
Pay Range:
The typical pay range for this role is: $82,940.00 - $199,144.80. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
