Residential CAD Drafter/Designer - Maitland, FL

Location: Maitland, FL (Onsite)
Compensation: $21-$29/hr. (negotiable based on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, typical business hours
Our client is an award-winning Residential Design and Architectural firm in the Orlando area. They are growing at a rapid pace and searching for career minded drafting professionals to join their team. At this time, seeking drafters with previous/current residential design experience. Basic Florida Building Code knowledge is a plus!
The CAD Drafter responsibilities:

• Drafting of residential Architectural plans using computer aided design programs (AutoCAD or Revit)
• Communicating with internal and external clients
• Maintaining project records
• Producing full construction documents in a production environment
• Performing project administration with the assistance of your team leaders.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience with AutoCAD within Residential Design (Revit experience a plus)
• Some knowledge of common Florida Building Codes
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
• Strong AutoCAD skills, preferably in the most up-to-date versions. Revit experience is a plus.
• Must have some understanding of Florida Building Codes and construction practices
• Experience in residential design and documentation
• Experience working on full construction documents
• Team player with a great attitude
