CNC programmer

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm

Pay: $30 - $40/hr depending on experience

Are you a former CNC machinist who wants to solely hone in on your programming skills? If you have experience with Mastercam, Autocad or a similar software, keep reading!

Responsibilities:

• Leverage your in-depth CNC programming skills to develop, edit, and troubleshoot programs using Mastercam, ensuring precision in all operations.
• Write and optimize CNC programs for mills, focusing on accuracy and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot machining issues using analytical thinking, resolving problems to maintain smooth production.
• Perform setups independently, utilizing your expertise to minimize downtime and enhance machine output.
• Take initiative and work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Guide and mentor team members, embracing a leadership role to foster continuous improvement.
• Apply your CNC lathe experience to support broader machining tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or certification in CNC programming is preferred.
• Experience in CAM programming or a similar software.
• Proficiency in CNC programming languages and software (e.g., G-code, Mastercam, SolidWorks).
• Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate within a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
