We have a full-time Civil Engineering Specialist opening to support our Wyomissing, PA location. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with Engineers and Project Managers in the design, development, and maintenance programs associated with energy projects which may include pipeline design, land development, water resources, and permitting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design of a variety of systems under the supervision of an experienced engineer
- Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D
- Collect and analyze data
- Performs permitting, field visits, and other tasks in support of engineering projects from beginning to completion
Capabilities and Credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program
- 5 to 8 years of professional work experience, including exposure/experience working on pipeline or energy-related projects
- Registered Engineer (P.E.) is preferred or the ability to obtain a license
- Experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydrologic modeling software (e.g. Hydraflow Hydrographs, HydroCAD)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook
- Willingness to complete field work when required (field views, construction oversight) with travel up to 10%
- Valid driver’s license
The selected candidate should be eligible for employment in the U.S., possess a valid driver's license, and be prepared to pass periodic drug screening and a background check.
