Job Description
Performing in a lead role, design and develop enterprise solutions using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot and Hibernate Framework. Develop and deploy Spring Boot application in AWS cloud. Develop middleware components using various Java collection framework. Produce Restful Webservices using annotations in Spring Controller. Integrate with Jenkins and GIT hub repository and testing REST API with postman tool. Develop persistence layer using Hibernate. Deploy and test applications with Apache Tomcat Server and assist with builds and deploy with Jenkins and Maven. Write Database Queries calling Stored Procedures. Perform Code Review, Code Delivery and Integration with existing Code and Test Data Preparation. Assist with logging, capturing, analyzing and resolving defects. Participate in Sprint/ Iteration Planning, Meetings and Sprint execution using Agile Methodology. Interact with clients to collect systems requirements, specifications, and timelines and actively involved in UAT (User Acceptance Testing). Use versioning systems such as SVN and GIT. Facilitate sprint planning, daily scrums, retrospectives, stakeholder meetings, and software demonstrations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems or a related field and 60 months’ experience in the job offered or as Programmer Analyst, Software Developer, IT consultant or a related occupation. Stated experience must include 3 years’ experience working with Java 8, EJB2.0, Restful WebServices, SOAP Webservice, Json, TomCat 7, WebLogic 8.1, and Oracle JDeveloper. Position based out of company’s headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia and subject to relocation to various client offices throughout U.S. Rate of Pay: $141,294.00/year. Junior Software Developer Role
Junior Software Developers are responsible for building and implementing functional programs into our platform. You will work with other Developers and Product Managers throughout the software development life cycle. In this role, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills. Individuals who also have experience in Agile frameworks and popular coding languages with core skills on the latest Microsoft Technologies and Serverless Application Development would be strong candidates. Your goal will be to build efficient programs and systems that serve user needs.
Additional Requirements
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies; Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment; Knowledge of coding languages (e.g. Java, Python) and frameworks/systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps); Ability to learn new languages and technologies; Excellent communication skills; Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude; Attention to detail; BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
Key Responsibilities
