Java QA Automation Engineer

Desired Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in using test automation tools such as:
- Selenium WebDriver/RC/IDE/Grid and Appium to develop automation testing scripts for Web and Mobile applications
- ReadyAPI/SoupUI/Postman for creating and executing automated tests for SOAP and REST services
- Cucumber BDD (behavior-driven development) framework
- Experience automating BDD scenarios using Java.
- Saucelabs
- Developing test automation in CICD pipelines such as ADO/Jenkins
- Experience creating custom test APIs using Java
- Provides estimates for testing effort and timeline:
- Designs and prepares Test Strategies & Approach, testing metrics and other testing artifacts
- Creates test cases based on requirements and conducts reviews with development team/business users
- Prioritizes and Executes functional tests and regression tests
- Reports defects, raises issues or concerns
- Participates in design meetings, risk analysis meetings
- Experience with SQL queries and/or KQL queries
- Experience with Junit, TestNG for unit testing
