Job Description

Red Circle is a mid-sized full-service advertising agency with over 15 years of experience in the gaming and hospitality industries. Our core business is casino marketing, and we’ve worked with more than 85 casinos, in addition to a diverse roster of other clients. Our vision is to be the most data-driven, results-oriented hospitality experts in North America.

As a Red Circle JavaScript Developer, you'll be responsible for designing and building an application framework and converting business requirements to quality functioning software. You’ll use client-side tools and frameworks to construct user interfaces that interact with server APIs. Finally, you'll be part of a small team, working in a lean, fast-paced environment.

Mad technical skills required:

1. 5+ years of experience
2. Must be able to write clean JavaScript/TypeScript
3. Must be able to write JavaScript to interact with server APIs
4. Must have solid knowledge of VueJS
5. Must understand client-side application architectures
6. Must understand unit testing tools and techniques
7. Must be familiar with WebPack and NodeJS technologies
8. The flexibility to try new things and encourage others to do the same.
9. Must be knowledgeable about continuous build, integration, and deployment strategies and tools.
10. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, on small teams (or alone), with just enough "process" to achieve company and product goals.
11. Must be familiar with agile development strategies.

Also it would be nice if you’ve:

1. Written anything in Node.js
2. Used either Cordova or PhoneGap to make a hybrid phone app.
3. Built a native app (Kotlin, Java, Objective C)

Technology - Required:

1. VueJS, TypeScript
2. WebPack, NodeJS
3. Git, GitHub, Branching, Merging, Pull Requests

Technology - Desired:

1. KnockoutJS
2. SVG
3. Anime.js (or similar)
4. Sass, Gulp

Skills:

1. Excellent attention to detail in written or verbal communication
2. Must be able to multi-task and work well under tight deadlines
3. Self-Motivated
4. Ability to learn quickly and think on your feet
5. Strong quantitative skills
6. Proven team player and ability to work with a wide range of personalities
