MedReview Inc. seeks a SQL Development Data Analyst
Duties
Work with business operations to identify, gather, prioritize, and incorporate business requirements into the solution. Confer with data processing or project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities for data processing projects. Analyze user needs and software requirements to develop complex Store Procedures, Functions, and Triggers to automate business logic, data analysis using T-SQL in SSMS, or modifications of existing processes. Analyze information or data using programming languages like T-SQL, Python,Power BI DAX, Azure SQL, Excel, and Power Query to make recommendations, and comments, and present forecasts to the executive leadership team and business partners for yearly and monthly target tracking. Develop a modern data warehouse for reporting, analytics, design or modify existing statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports. Coordinate with the management team to create a prioritized list of needs for each business segment. Identify and recommend new ways to save money by streamlining business processes. Bring analytical expertise into cross-functional projects and work collaboratively with team leaders and subject matter experts across multiple departments, to enable data-driven decision-making. Ensure smooth functioning of QA, UAT, and production environments. Involvement in performance analysis and utilization of system resources during QA. Ensure the current processes are functioning normally in the event of system updates or enhancements. Responsible for creating different Power BI reports that are a multi-perspective view into a dataset, with visuals that represent findings and insights from those dataset visualizations, advanced calculations (Aggregate, Logical, String, Table) using Power BI (all devices).Create Data marts in Power BI for end users that are self-service analytics solutions. Analyze data using Power BI Machine Learning models like Binary prediction, Classification, and Regression to train the dataset and predict or optimize the results. Develop and enhance reporting capabilities with datasets that are user-friendly and client-ready. Design tabular, matrix reports, drill down, drill through, Parameterized, and linked reports in SQL Reporting Services (SSRS). ETL data using SSIS to get data from various internal systems and collect historic data of firm-wide to a new warehouse environment. Document the current processes as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. 2 years of experience managing software architecture and engineering designs and domains.
