Quality Engineer - Hardware - (potential Senior level)

Full-time - Direct Hire - W2 - Full Benefits - Onsite Position

Focus: Development and Production of Mechanical, Electronic, and Software Products and Services

Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven Hardware Quality Engineer who is passionate about enhancing product quality and reliability in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in quality engineering, with a strong emphasis on performance outcomes in both development and production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that directly enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure quality standards are met throughout the entire product lifecycle.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement robust quality assurance processes that lead to measurable improvements in product reliability.
  • Lead initiatives to achieve Lean Six Sigma performance metrics, focusing on defect reduction and process optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering with a demonstrated ability to deliver measurable results.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience in strong QMS environments, prefer ISO background.
  • Certification as an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) is a strong plus.
  • Proven experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies, including certifications, is highly desirable.

Performance Metrics:

  • Success will be measured by reductions in defect rates, improvements in product reliability, and overall contributions to quality improvement projects.
  • Your ability to help other engineers to understand the process and reasons for it.
