Senior Manager, Middleware Engineering
Lead a team of experts who create, deploy, and manage middleware solutions.
Your new role
Providing technical advice and support on middleware technologies, such as IBM Business Automation Workflow and BPM, IBM FileNet and Content Manager, IIB, WebSphere, and IBM ODM. Knowledge of IBM MQ is a plus.
Work with project teams, system analysts, system engineers, network engineers, and developers to determine and implement middleware solutions that satisfy project needs and follow best practices.
Diagnose and fix middleware-related problems, ensure that middleware systems are well set up and maintained, and suggest ways to enhance middleware systems and processes.
What you'll need to succeed
- A degree or equivalent experience in IT disciplines related to middleware, and 8+ years of middleware administration experience.
- Experience with JBoss, Tomcat, IBM middleware products and high availability and disaster recovery techniques for middleware.
- Experience working with development teams to optimize middleware codes, and curiosity, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Can-do attitude and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment, results-oriented, with a focus on delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction, and good communication and interpersonal skills.
