Job Description
Our aerospace industry client is known for tackling complex challenges in ice protection and temperature control systems. They are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to modify, repair, and enhance electronic products, equipment, and control systems.

The Engineering Technician will play a key role in testing and troubleshooting new electronic products, maintaining precise data documentation for each product, and diagnosing, documenting, and preparing field units for return to service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test electronic components following verbal or written instructions, diagrams, and specifications.
• Accurately record data for each product and document defects in new products.
• Complete RMA teardown reports for field returns.
• Perform Environmental Stress Screening using Vibration and Thermal Chambers.
• Accurately scan and complete traveler documentation for each job.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

• Thorough understanding of electronics principles and design.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow complex instructions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Associate degree in Electronics required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Electronic Technician certification or equivalent certification/licensure required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
• Ability to distinguish various wire colors and recognize electronic system components and wiring sections.
