About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer (Level 3) to join our team in San Diego, where you’ll be responsible for managing large-scale cloud infrastructure, implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, scalable applications. You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our platforms, focusing on automation, system maintenance, and deployment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Cloud Infrastructure:
Oversee 36 Kubernetes clusters with 115 million spaces, ensuring smooth operations, rolling out new releases, and making platform improvements.
Develop and implement strategies for scalability, system optimization, and automation.
CI/CD Pipeline Management:
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
Automate deployment and rollback processes.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of infrastructure and application deployment.
Automation and Scripting:
Write and maintain automation scripts using Python and Groovy.
Ensure efficient infrastructure automation with GitHub and GITFLOW methodologies.
Collaboration and Solution Design:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to detect anomalies, identify infrastructure issues, and propose and implement solutions.
Participate in design discussions and build infrastructure designs that support business objectives.
Operational Review and Monitoring:
Conduct operational reviews and troubleshoot issues, ensuring continuous availability and performance.
Monitor and maintain system health, ensuring all platforms are optimized and functioning effectively.
Qualifications:
Experience: 10+ years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on infrastructure management, automation, and CI/CD processes.
Cloud Expertise: Solid experience with AWS (5+ years), with AWS Architect certification highly preferred.
Kubernetes: 3-4 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes platform management.
Scripting: Strong scripting experience with Python (5+ years) and familiarity with Groovy.
CI/CD Tools: Deep knowledge of Jenkins, with experience in ArgoCD being a plus.
Code Familiarity: Ability to understand and work with Java code.
Version Control: Strong experience with GitHub and GITFLOW workflows.

Interview Process:
First Round: A 30-minute initial interview to discuss your experience and fit for the role.
Second Round: A 90+ minute technical panel interview, including a Craft Demo where you will solve a coding exercise and demonstrate your expertise in DevOps and infrastructure management.
Work Conditions:
Onsite: This role requires 100% onsite presence in San Diego, CA. Candidates must be available to work from the office 5 days a week.
