Senior Python Developer

Job Title: Senior Python Developer

Location(s): Mclean, VA / Richmond, VA

Skills:
Strong Python skills, experience with AWS technologies such as SQS, and Lambda preferred.
Awareness of Java is helpful but not required.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree
2. At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)

Preferred Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience in Python, Java
2. 3+ years of experience with AWS, Lambda Step Functions
3. 2+ years of experience in the AWS Ecosystem in at least one of the following:
4. ECS/Fargate, Lambda, ELB, RT53, S3, Cloudwatch, Aurora, DynamoDB, RDS or Elasticache
5. 1+ years of experience in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Boto3, Terraform, CFT or Ansible
6. 2+ years of experience in DevOps tools such as Jenkins or Docker
7. 4+ years of experience in open-source frameworks
8. 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
