OverviewFAIR-RITE PRODUCTS CORP. - LOCATED IN WALLKILL, NEW YORKCome join our Engineering Team!!Days and Hours:Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pmBenefits for Full Time Employees:Salary Range $74,880/yr - $100,000/yr dependent on expereinceMedical, Dental and Vison insuranceEmployer Sponsored Health Savings Account (HSA)401(k) plan with Employer MatchPaid VacationPaid Sick TimeEmployee Assistance ProgramResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Creates 3D models of parts and prototypes using Solidworks software.Generates 2D prints using AutoCAD for part prints and tool designs.Feasibility assessment of specifications, new part designs and tooling.Completing cost estimate worksheets (CEW’s) and engineering change notifications (ECN’s).Assist with developing manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment conferring with equipment vendors as needed.Conducts research to determine equipment and parts availability, manufacturability, ease of assembly, and cost of specified projects.Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods as needed; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing process.Identifies causes of process instability and recommends solutions.Other non-essential duties may be assigned as necessary.Follow all relevant Quality and / or Environmental standards to which Fair Rite is certified.Follow all O.S .H.A. standards and the F/R Safety and Health Policy.QualificationsPreferred Education / Experience Requirements:BS degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experienceRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:CAD software: AutoCAD and SolidWorksGeometric Dimensioning & TolerancingKnowledge of a variety of manufacturing processes, including common engineering concepts, practices and proceduresStrong communication and interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of production employeesAbility to operate ERP and MRP system effectivelySolid communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work under minimal supervisionAdvanced PC, Excel and Analytical skillsKnowledge of advanced production quality planning, design skills and design of experimentsData collection / SPCMust have a high level of accuracy and strong organizational skillsCompany Website ProfileFair-Rite Products Corp. is a family-owned business that was formed in 1952 in Wallkill, New York USA.
