Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical and development support to the government client to build and maintain a stable and scalable infrastructure, in support of the Fraud Analysis project.
2. Design and prepare technical specifications. Assist in project artifact documentation in business requirement documents, functional specs, flow charts, and system architecture source to target mappings.
3. Enable governments to plan, design, develop, validate, integrate, and implement Fraud analysis or any related applications.
4. Oversee business/user requirements efforts as part of a full systems development lifecycle and provide critical technical recommendations/solutions for complex problems.
5. Direct the business process engineering and/or business/user requirements efforts for major projects.
6. Lead and/or direct the efforts of specialists on project(s) across components and/or technical areas.
7. Act as a self-starter with the ability to take on complex projects and analyses independently.

Required Qualifications:

1. Three (3) years of experience working with the SAS products Enterprise Guide, Enterprise Miner, Office Analytics, EDI, etc.
2. Two (2) years of experience with the SAS visual analytics tool.
3. Two (2) years of experience with data ingestion technologies with reference to relational databases (i.e. DB2, Oracle, SQL).
4. One (1) year of experience using the Hadoop ecosystem - HDFS, MapReduce, YARN, HBase, Hive, and Pig.
5. One (1) year of experience with the inherited DataFlux Data Management Studio.

Education Requirements:

1. Master’s Degree or higher with 12 years of relevant experience.
2. Bachelor's degree with 14 years of relevant experience.
3. Associate’s degree with 16 years of relevant experience.

Desired Qualifications:

1. Experience with object-oriented programming in core Java, JEE technologies and related libraries - JDBC/Hibernate, JMS, and Spring.
2. Experience with Apache Hadoop Administration (Preferred Cloudera Framework).
3. Experience with Linux Administration (CentOS and Red Hat).
4. Experience with statistical modeling tools.
5. Experience with Data Presentation/Visualization tools (e.g. Tableau or QlikView).
6. Knowledge of Revolution Analytics (R) or similar analytics tools.
7. Proven ability to work with senior technical managers and staff to provide expert-level support for the installation, maintenance, upgrading, and administration of full-featured database management systems.
8. Knowledge of leading-edge technologies, new methodologies, and best practices applicable to work performed.
9. Experience with development methodologies using different software languages.
10. Knowledge of SSA’s Enterprise Architecture.
11. Experience with Section 508 Compliance.
