Position Overview:
The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for accurately entering and maintaining data related to inventory, sales, and customer information. Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential, and the candidate should have strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn their jewelry operating system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and update data related to inventory and sales transactions.
- Utilize QuickBooks to manage financial records and ensure accuracy.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records in both digital and physical formats.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support daily operations.
- Learn and efficiently use the store’s jewelry operating system.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
- Strong computer skills with a fast and accurate typing ability.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Prior experience in a retail or jewelry environment is a plus but not required.
