Job Description:
This position’s focus will be capturing Engineering and Logistics contracts for Aviation, Shipboard, Space and Submarines. This will require travel to Government Agencies, Military bases and Aerospace companies to identify their needs, write successful proposals, and prepare strategic marketing and business plans.
Duties:
- Develop necessary internal processes to minimize the proposals preparation time. Augment and create new standard proposal modules.
- Create winning proposals that meet company growth objectives, address customer needs, and expand competitive advantage.
- Determine proposal strategies, outline a responsive program design, and develop compelling content.
- Track development of new business opportunities.
- Provide Program Management of Engineering and Logistics Service contracts including internal metrics and external CDRL submission for Budget and Schedule tracking.
- Under the direction of the Chairman, assist in Development and Technical Writing.
- Assist in Capture Management, Proposal Development, and Technical Writing.
Required Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree required (Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
- Experience and knowledge on DoD Contracting and Military Aircraft Maintenance Repair and Overhaul.
- Proven ability in gathering and synthesizing market intelligence in order to identify competitive and effective marketing opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters’ Degree preferred. Experience in relevant military aircraft and systems preferred.
- Active Secret Clearance.
