Photonics Engineer

Job Summary:

Design and develop high-performance photodiodes for applications in telecommunications, medical imaging, and consumer electronics. Ensure device optimization, scalability, and seamless integration into optoelectronic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design photodiodes using semiconductor materials (e.g., silicon, InGaAs).
• Develop and test prototypes to meet performance specifications.
• Use simulation tools (TCAD, COMSOL) for modeling and optimization.
• Collaborate with manufacturing for scalable, cost-effective production.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and conduct failure analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 3+ years of photodiode or semiconductor design experience.
• Expertise in semiconductor physics, photonics, and optoelectronics.

Preferred:

• Experience with avalanche or PIN photodiodes.
• Knowledge of fiber optic communication systems.
