To succeed in this position, you are expected to hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (or similar). We expect a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering. Working in a multicultural environment, you have cultural knowledge and excellent communication and teamwork skills. As a Chief Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the whole own discipline or a defined part of the scope in project execution towards the Project Manager for the project. You should also be pro-active and have cost awareness and effectiveness skills, working as a lead engineer for your own discipline as well as collaborating with other disciplines and customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To be a representative of the company and have technical ownership of assigned tasks or projects
- Manage project activities, integration engineering and technical correspondence with customers, vendors and cross-functional stakeholders as well as internal team members
- Plan and safeguard execution of activities with the total cost, schedule and customer specific needs in focus according to standards and contract requirements, specifications, instructions and policies
- Actively participate in customer, vendor and stakeholder negotiations and maintain good relationships
- Identify, mitigate, monitor and report risks, quality issues, use of resources, cost, schedule and scope issues in projects and for products and work process improvement
- Support project and sales teams in complex projects and stakeholders with concepts and product solutions maintaining and developing knowledge in the global organisation
Development Responsibilities:
- Participate in developing and maintaining tools and work methods in own responsibility area
- Give, collect and handle feedback regarding technical solutions and complaints
- Provide lessons learned initiatives for developing issues in own responsibility area
Desired Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of Medium voltage systems, Low voltage systems, Protection relays
- Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA and HMI
- Knowledge of power generation and power grids is seen as an advantage

- Previous job experience from a similar field of work
- Spanish language is seen as a benefit
