Position Summary:
The Senior Process Engineer will design, develop, and improve processes for new or legacy products, driving continuous improvements in safety, quality, cost, and efficiency. This role requires advanced knowledge and problem-solving skills and may involve supporting multiple sites with occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new products in collaboration with cross-functional teams, conducting trials, studies, and analyses to enhance process capabilities using statistical methods.
- Lead Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) for new or modified products, ensuring proper documentation and seamless transitions into manufacturing.
- Investigate quality issues and customer complaints, working closely with Quality teams to implement corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement, safety, and cost reduction initiatives by optimizing production processes and performing risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate plant recipes, process control plans, and safety documentation for equipment changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Engineering or related field
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Chemical, Chemistry, or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of engineering/manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of SPC, DOE, PFEMA, Six Sigma
- Familiarity with PLCs and Minitab
Work Environment:
Office, plant, and travel.
