JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Software Engineer II, you will be working within an energetic agile team implementing solutions that support a wide range of customers. You will develop high quality web-based applications for new and existing features. You will also have the opportunity to bring your creative ideas to the table to deliver better solutions to our users.

Core Requirements and Responsibilities:

1. Contributes independently to multiple functional and technical areas within a product
2. Responsible for developing new features and supporting/bug fixing existing features
3. Unit and integration testing
4. Creates artifacts/documents that are valuable to the team
5. Debugging issues across the whole stack - OS, DB, applications, JavaScript, and network
6. Share what they know by mentoring other team members
7. Writes well-designed, testable code
8. Develops new features and supporting/bug fixing in existing and new features for a wide range of products
9. Troubleshoots issues across the whole stack - OS, DB, applications, JavaScript, and network
10. Participates in code reviews, both of your own code and as a reviewer
11. Provides feedback and suggestions for process and product improvement
12. Conducts technical research on new technology for possible new aspects of a product or components needing redesign or updating
13. Prepares product documentation, support materials, and internal documentation
14. Mentors and inspires others to raise the bar for everyone around them
15. Shares what they know; Prepares internal technical training and information sessions
16. Follows industry trends and the open-source community
