Join the MATLAB Product Management team and be responsible for driving the future direction of MATLAB, the programming platform used by over 4 million engineers and scientists. We partner with the MATLAB Development team to understand key requirements and define product features for MATLAB. We outline the short- and long-term roadmaps for the MATLAB product as a whole and for each of its key feature areas.

You will be the product management lead for Software Development workflows in MATLAB. This includes specific areas like package management, integrating with source control, and managing code projects. It also includes an overall responsibility to ensure that MATLAB is a pleasant and productive platform for developing software.
Specifically, you will:
- Help plan future MATLAB releases
- Identify new investment areas
- Develop market and product requirements
- Collect, synthesize and prioritize customer feedback
- Launch features, including naming, positioning, demonstrations, web content, and field-engineer training
- Measure and drive adoption of new features
- Track and report on the scientific computing market and alternative offerings
Minimum Qualifications:
- Extensive experience using MATLAB in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in using Git in a collaborative team setting, including experience with merge conflicts and other common version control scenarios.
- Familiarity with package managers such as pip, conda, or npm, and their role in software development workflows.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Python is a plus.
- Experience with defining product requirements.
- A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
