Where you’ll work: Boston, MA; May telecommute from any location within the continental U.S.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for full-stack product design and the design of the in-house developed enterprise phone systems and collaboration software.
- Devise improvements and develop new features for the GoTo suite of products.
- Serve as a lead designer and collaborate with our global teams in India, Budapest, Ireland, and Germany.
- Perform design prototyping and tool libraries.
- Execute specialized testing to validate whether the design is implemented correctly.
- Design the user workflow and produce wireframes that demonstrate how a software feature will function.
- Create prototypes that will be implemented by engineering teams and test the design solutions to ensure that they meet official standards for aesthetics and ease-of-use.
- Participate in the prioritization and sequencing of features on the product roadmap as the user's advocate.
- Promote cross-departmental communication within the company.
What We’re Looking For:
As a Staff UX Designer, the minimum requirements are:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Information Technology, or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or alternate occupation (all levels accepted) such as Product Designer, UX Architect, User Experience Designer, or closely related.
- In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of experience, employer will accept seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or alternate occupation (all levels accepted) such as Product Designer, UX Architect, User Experience Designer, or closely related.
Position requires five (5) years of experience involving the following:
- Conducting user research, including providing strategic UX input to product backlog;
- Designing user flows and wireframes, utilizing design system patterns;
- Contributing to and improving upon design system patterns;
- Creating and testing UX prototypes;
- Integrating UX processes into in-house product development methodologies;
- Conducting user testing of design prototypes and synthesizing user feedback.

The above shows our ranges from minimum to maximum. Your compensation will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. You will also be eligible for a variable pay component and benefits.
