Role Title: Mechanical Engineer
Role Locations: Sandy, UT(onsite)
Duration: Contract (W2 only)
Rate:$48-52/hr
Description:
• Degree in engineering (mechanical preferred) or related field is required.
Minimum of 3 – 5 years of working experience in related field.
CAD software (Solidworks) to design and simulate mechanical components and assemblies
Knowledge and Skills:
• Required: o Experience serving as an engineering lead to conceptualize, design, and develop medical devices that address clinical needs. o Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks)
• Ability to read and create detailed dimensioned drawings
• Ability to manipulate and understand complex product and equipment assemblies
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills o Experience with tolerance analysis and tolerance stack-up Modeling o Excellent communication and teamwork skills
o Proficiency in Office 365 o Strong knowledge of common manufacturing techniques and tools
o Experience leading and effectively collaborating with multidisciplinary teams with ability to adapt quickly to program changes. o Strong oral and written communication skills
• Preferred skills:
o Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Modeling
o Ability to create Monte-Carlo simulations
o Strong background in statistics and six sigma methodology
