Process Engineer

The Process Engineer will provide leadership for a plant value stream while optimizing the end-to-end value stream process.

This role involves managing cross-functional teams, identifying and eliminating inefficiencies, and ensuring that value is delivered effectively to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lean management, process improvement, and strategic planning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and increase production line, value stream, and product flow
• Create continuous product flow, utilize pull systems to level the workload between team members and work cells
• Collaborate with Supply Chain on inventory planning and management
• Ability to analyze inventory, sales, and other data to make long-range forecasts for staffing requirements. Ability to read and interpret detailed prints, sketches, and specifications.
• Team member assessment, coaching and development including natural High-Performance work teams
• Provide effective cross training for value stream associates and backups from other value streams to assure the continuous smooth running of the value stream

KEYS TO THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
• 1-5 years of industrial or manufacturing engineering experience preferred
• Demonstrated teamwork and team building skills including leading High-Performance Teams
• Experience with LEAN techniques and leading LEAN events; certification a plus
