Senior Robotic Process Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Robotic Process Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing automation solutions using RPA tools and technologies. You will be expected to provide technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers and collaborate with business teams to identify automation opportunities and optimize existing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop automation solutions using RPA tools and technologies
2. Identify automation opportunities and provide solutions to optimize existing processes
3. Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and develop automation solutions that meet their needs
4. Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers
5. Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices are followed
6. Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of automation solutions
7. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with automation solutions
8. Document and maintain technical documentation for automation solutions
9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies and make recommendations for improvements

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and developing automation solutions using RPA tools and technologies or other business process engineering tools or languages.
3. Strong experience in working with RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Power Automate
4. Experience in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or similar
5. Strong understanding of process automation principles and best practices
6. Ability to lead a team of junior engineers and provide technical guidance
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
9. Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred qualifications:

1. Experience working in an Agile development environment using SCRUM, Kanban, or similar agile development tools and frameworks
2. RPA certification from UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism
3. Experience in implementing automation solutions for finance, accounting, or supply chain processes.
4. Experience providing automation solutions to Federal, State or local government agencies
