Director, Engineering

Key Responsibilities

1. Establish strategic and tactical objectives and plans for the company's products and processes.
2. Design, develop, implement, and test all hardware, system, and process solutions for products.
3. Supervise the establishment of equipment operating specifications and act as a liaison with customers (semiconductor manufacturers) and the product design/development teams.
4. Investigate complex issues involving in-depth knowledge of etch process equipment, process technology, semiconductor integration, and semiconductor devices.
5. Regularly interact directly with customers and provide technical presentations, process implementation, and technical negotiation.
6. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering and 5 years of dry etch hardware and process R&D and implementation experience (in plasma dielectric & polysilicon etch) and 5 years of experience in manufacturing NAND, DRAM, and Logic.
2. In-depth knowledge of process technology, integration, and device technology.
