Major Duties:

  • Perform pollution prevention investigations and initiatives for environmental impacts and checks on the environment.
  • Provide engineering assessment of processes, proposed projects and products to be used or are activities that will occur on Joint Base Lewis McChord.
  • Manage Engineering Assessment program for the existing or potential environmental impacts of installation processes for air, water, wastewater, regulated or hazardous wastes.
  • Research policies and procedures from other subject matter specialists such as environmental specialists, fish and wildlife biologists, Industrial Hygiene and Safety staff, to determine probable impacts, alternatives and fixes.

Education:

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
