Job Overview :
We are looking for a talented Backend Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java, C++, and/or Python to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend systems that power applications. If you have experience in full stack development or cloud technologies , that’s a huge plus!
Note : This position requires a Secret or Top Secret Government Security Clearance . Any applicant without their clearance clearly listed on their resume will not be considered .
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend systems
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues
- Implement security and data protection solutions
- Write and maintain technical documentation
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Backend Software Engineer
- Proficiency in Java, C++, and/or Python
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system design
- Experience with databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and APIs
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git
- Secret or Top Secret Government Security Clearance is required
- Knowledge of full stack development (preferred but not required)
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure (a plus)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Bonus Qualifications :
- Experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
