SFS Group USA, Inc. is seeking an Application Engineer with demonstrated record of academic excellence who is interested in developing a career in the Product Engineering team. You will be a key member of the team by supporting key accounts with engineering tasks; collaborating with sales, supply chain management, manufacturing and business unit managers to achieve growth strategy. Provide external customers with application support to complete construction projects while looking for product improvements to help grow market share.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for direct interaction with daily customer inquiries needing technical support and testing across all products.

  • Maintain drawings and product documentation according to internal and external standards.

  • Will work on processing internal documentation changes with Engineering Change Notices interacting across all departments to gain approvals.

  • Provide support to wind uplift facility and building customer mock-ups for product training.

  • Works with our purchasing department, outside vendors, manufacturing and quality departments to evaluate new products to ensure they meet SFS specifications and can be processed throughout all operations.

  • Create new fixtures and test setups for small scale product testing while maintaining the material corrosion lab.

  • Work with marketing department to create technical videos and articles to help educate internal and external customers.

  • Work closely with Product Engineers and Business Unit managers on technical support requirements needed on innovation projects.

  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, or related field

  • 0-5 years of experience in engineering field

  • CATIA experience a plus

  • Effective team player with willingness to embrace new ideas and learn continuously

  • Leadership skills that move projects and teams to success

  • Problem solving and critical analysis skills with the ability to communicate to diverse populations
